Conservations Helped

Project Start

We sent Dan and Darren to Kenya to learn about the situation in the Masaai Mara, their conservation initiatives, and how we could help.

Milestone 1

After learning that weather stations are crucial for ecosystem monitoring work and ultimately making informed ecosystem management decisions that go into the conservation efforts, we installed seven weather stations and solar grids.

Milestone 2

Our long-time collaborators, GivePower, supply all the ranger stations with clean energy to provide light at night and, more importantly, power the weather stations and censors.

Milestone 3

Along with the stations, GivePower had the opportunity to create a digital connection to transmit information these stations gather in the field to a system that would generate carbon credits.

Companies buy Carbon Credits to offset their carbon footprint, which allows them to release a certain amount of greenhouse gases. If the conservancy gets additional weather stations, it can sell the carbon credits to companies that need them.

Milestone 4

In recent flooding, the conservancy lost two rangers in the line of duty. Both rangers had large families for whom they provided daily. And their tragic death has left both families without a source of income. So Beast Philanthropy has committed to covering both families' living expenses for an entire year.

Ongoing Support

We have set up a campaign to raise an additional $100,000 to build five more ranger stations.

How we're 'Saving Endangered Animals From Extinction'!

Without the Maasai Mara conservancies, seeing endangered animals in our latest film would be as rare as visiting Jurassic Park.

These brave rangers are the real-life heroes keeping extinction at bay, ensuring that species like rhinos don't become just another exhibit in a museum of the past, even as they face poachers and devastating weather events which tragically, due to recent floods, have destroyed tourism camps and even claimed the lives of two rangers in the line of duty.

When we heard this devastating news, we sent Dan and Darren to Kenya to find out how to ensure this never happens again. After learning that installing weather stations could be vital in preventing such tragedies, we've committed to building twelve stations powered by solar panels and batteries from @givepower to help the rangers protect wildlife and generate income through carbon credits, expanding protected areas and sustaining the Maasai community for generations to come!

If every one of our subscribers donated just $1, we’d raise $25 Million. Thanks to all of you watching and donating, we can do projects like this with organizations that protect our planet and its nature.
